Our printing plates are also collected for aluminum recycling. Our printing press plate processing is chemical-free. Our first choice for inks is to use vegetable oil-based inks. We also use water-based coatings when possible.

What is the minimum number of postcards I can print?
The minimum quantity of postcards or rack cards we can print is 50. Postcard printing is more economical if you print larger quantities, as the cost per postcard will go down significantly.
If I want to cover an area of town, or the whole city, how many postcards should I expect to print?
There are a lot of addresses out there! Depending on how many neighbourhoods you want to cover, your print order could start at 30,000 postcards and go up from there.
What kind of response can I expect from a postcard or direct mail campaign?
Typical responses from a postcard or direct mail campaign are 1-2%.
Do you handle mailing of postcards through Canada Post?
Yes! We can arrange your postcards to be sent all over Edmonton, or Alberta, or anywhere in Canada. We can also arrange for your postcards to be sent to narrow audiences, like just businesses in a certain part of the city.
What does postcard coating or finishes mean?
Coating or finishes are used to protect the printed postcard, or achieve certain visual effects. As a postcard is sent through the mail, it gets handled a lot by the postal system.
A coating on the card helps protect it from moisture, scuffing, scratching and finger prints – ensuring your cards still looks good when it lands in the hands of your potential customer.
You can print varnishes like an extra ink and use it to highlight your headline text, or add extra pop to an image.
What kind of coatings or finishes can I choose for my postcard?
Generally, print coatings or finishes come in three options: (UV) high gloss, matte or softouch which is low sheen. Hi Gloss is the most common finish and is used on magazines, postcards, mailers and other promotional material. UV Gloss is used on postcards that are seeking a very high gloss finish on very colourful graphics. Matte finish has a very low sheen and is described as feeling like satin. Alternately, you do not have to have a coating or finish on your postcard at all.
